Heart for wood

"At ADLER we offer a wide range of paints and varnishes, and our customers include industrial window manufacturers as well as timber construction specialists and painters. However, joinery has a special significance for us. The love of wood as a material, the passion for the sublime, aspirations of the highest quality and service orientation are what binds us to it," reveals Andrea Berghofer, who heads the family business in its third generation. ADLER, Austria's leading paint manufacturer, has a close relationship with its customers, "personal contact and exchange, competent advice and service are our top priority," says ADLER sales manager Stefan Zink. "That's why we also know what joiners and carpenters need, and we can develop the right products for them." For example, efficient coatings that enable high quality in just a few work steps, thus saving time and money. This is possible with the new water-based paint Bluefin Smart from ADLER: paint once, sand once – and the surface is finished.

Individual design

The great advantage of joiners is that they can offer their customers individual and unique pieces of furniture. ADLER's variety of designs helps them in this respect: Those looking for an authentic natural look can reach for the new Aduro Vitea. This PUR varnish does not enhance the wood grain and creates a natural look and feel; the character of the wood is preserved and protected. If, on the other hand, trendy effect surfaces are in demand, ADLER's new real-metal effects offer limitless possibilities. With the real-metal powder ADLER Aquafix, wood is transformed into pure brass, copper, bronze and tin – painted or rolled, sprayed or filled, metallic glossy or with a cool patina effect.

Innovation and Inspiration

"We offer joiners innovation and inspiration at the highest level. Our paints make each piece of furniture a valuable unique item and protect it sustainably," Stefan Zink is already looking forward to many visitors to the ADLER booth 414 in hall 10.1 at the Holz-Handwerk trade fair in Nuremberg from 21 to 24 March 2018.
