Windows? Naturally matt! How? Aquawood Ligno+ Top M!

Matt is the new gloss. When things are sparkling, shining and shimmering everywhere, matt understatement and natural looks become interesting again. Models, furniture and even cars – all now come in the sought-after matt look. Even wood windows. They look particuarly natural and exclusive.

ADLER-Werk Lackfabrik is taking this trend into account and bringing out a particularly matt version of the highly transparent window paint, ADLER Aquawood Ligno+ Top, on the market. "For extraordinary properties, where the aim is to underline the natural character of the wood windows, Aquawood Ligno+ Top M is the perfect solution," says Richard Mölk, ADLER Sales Manager for the window industry.

Lignin stabilised

The Ligno+ line from ADLER is a unique system, which retains the natural quality of the wood surface over the long term. Thanks to a revolutionary technology for stabilising lignin, a component in wood, the Ligno+ system guarantees a UV protection of previously unrivalled consistency and resistance compared to standard highly transparent coatings for the outdoors. With the new M version, this permanent protection is now also guaranteed in a particularly matt appearance.

Larch, Oak, Highly Transparent

"We have realised that the mattest possible surfaces are very much in demand in the window sector. We have therefore optimised the matt version for the top coat Aquawood Ligno+ Top. We have managed to reduce the gloss level at a viewing angle of 60 degrees from 20 to 10," reports Dr. Markus Fessler, Group Manager for the development of structures/windows/timber construction in the ADLER laboratory. The three popular colours, "Highly transparent", "Larch" and "Oak" now come in this particularly matt version with the suffix "M", whereby the coating for oak timber, which is demanding as everyone knows, has been optimised. All three colours in the 3-layer composition with Aquawood Ligno+ Base and Aquawood Ligno+ Sealer protect the wood perfectly from the effects of water and sun and make the windows look untreated. Simple. Natural. Beautiful!
